I really really despise that stupid "proven" argument crap.
What Vidro has done in the past completely and utterly irrelevant. He's not that same player anymore and everybody but apparently Bill Bavasi knows that.
Vidro has proven two things. 1. That he is already a worse offensive player than Chris Snelling, and that's if Snelling never improves at all and 2.He's so immobile and gimpy that he can't play the field anymore, to where Snelling can still play the corners.
Neither has proven they can stay healthy, I will give you that. But out of two players who are of similar dispositions, who would you choose the worse,older, more expensive one?
