This wasn't a perfect game for the Cowboys, but they clearly demonstrated they are the dominate team in the NFC with this win. The Cowboys scored 27 points in the first 21 minutes of the game. Their defensive playcalling for the first half was almost perfect until Favre was knocked out of the game. Once that happened, the coaches pulled back on the pressure on the quarterback and Rogers started burning them for about the next 20 minutes when they decided it would be a good idea to go back to thier original gameplan of pressure and aggressive offense. The last 12 minutes of the game was decisive where the Cowboys pulled away.

This game should not have been as close as it was. If the Packers come calling in January, I expect a much worse outcome for them. Dallas should have scored 50+ while holding Green Bay under 20. I'm pleased with the outcome knowing that we haven't seen the best Dallas has to offer yet. If they start playing perfect ball like they did for the first 20 minutes of this one, they can definitely beat New England.
