I'm rooting for the Rox in the series in part because the Rockies have been dissed by the National media. Joe Torre has been more newsworthy to BSPN (Bristol/Bronx/Boston = B) than Colorado's reaction to the Rockies in the Series.

The day you guys clinched it -- mobile media (news as presented through mobile devices) played up other things happening in the country and made no mention of the Rockies clinching.

There's too much of a Northeast fixation on sports news. You can see it in most professional sports. When you get west of Philadelphia or south of Washington DC -- the news is moot unless it's college football or a key player that is a sensation (Kobe Bryant, Brett Farve, etc).

The Rockies are the latest victim of this... Relegated to a mostly non-sports basic cable channel to begin with (TBS), lack of news coverage and what not. It's garbage and you deserve better. You deserve a hell of a lot better.

Hand Boston their ass for me, will you?
