The national media aims for the casual fan. Their topics are Manny being Manny or the firing of Joe Torre. I understand. They don't want to talk about minutae like should the Rox activate Cook to replace Morales. I get that.

Still, it's annoying that it just seems de rigeur to laugh at the Rockies, at baseball at altitude, at the snow, whatever...
