We don't get the national respect that is due
Watching the Sports Reporters this morning as usual.
Game 7 Bosox v. Indians is being discussed, of course, that's ok.
Jake Westbrook (former Rockie) will be pitching tonite v. Dice K.
I can't stand the East Coast bias. I wonder why that is bugging me so much right now. It never used to bother me. I think it's because THEY don't seem to understand the importance of the HUMIDOR and that we are no longer playing pinball up here at altitude anymore. They always take the easy way out and laugh at us. It's snowing right now. How long will it take for them to mention that, and laugh at us for that, as if they have great baseball weather in Boston in late October?
Q: what did Jimmy Roberts say in the opening about our Rockies? Some smirking comment about selling out all the seats? Hello? We led the league in attendance for 7 straight years, Jimbo! Don't we still own the record for highest attendance in a single season, some 4 million plus?
I hate it when the media gets lazy.
ASIDE: Paul Byrd took HGH? Where does it stop? He's a soft tosser. "If they're not gonna test for it, they're gonna do it." Mitch Albom. As usual he's spot on. They don't test for HGH. It would take a blood test with a needle. Gasp. Would we actually force Barry Bonds to insert a needle in his pristine body? <sarcasm>. And what if they found that his cholesterol was high? Wouldn't that benefit the player as well? But the UNION stands in the way...
