But my daughters kept me posted, and at the break I "watched" the bottom of the 9th. When I read "Abreu homers deep to right" (I think it was right), I nearly lost it! But then he retired the next two, and immediately I get two text messages: "WE WON! WE WON! WE BEAT THEM 6-4, AND NOW ONTO BOSTON!"
I couldn't believe it myself! Who'd'a thunk it at the beginning of the year? But now, yeah, I'm ready to believe we could even knock out the Bosox and go back to try to win the World Series.
P.S. Thanks for the welcome! I've come into this site before, but mostly to post on the soccer boards. I have a regular Indians "e-mail only" group I belong to, so do most of my "posting" with them. But I wanted to come in here (finally) during the play-offs. Thanks for the welcome.
