The worst team in the NFL, without a doubt, are the Cleveland Browns.
It does not matter who you put in at QB - Derek Anderson, Charlie Frye, Brenda Quinn, they all suck.
The whole notion that Brenda will spark a fire under the offense is a load of bull. First off, he is a rookie who missed the majority of training camp. Secondly, he is not that good of a player and lastly, did I not mention the Browns suck? When Quinn is put into the fire, he will struggle, and Browns fans will be so dumbfounded, they will be chanting "DILFER DILFER DILFER!" When they realize they they wanted his ass gone in favor of Frye, they will chant "GARCIA GARCIA!" When they again realize they ran him out of town in 04, they start thinking Tim Couch? Kelly Holcomb? Ah the hell with "GRADY SIZMORE!"
I mean that's how sad Cleveland football is. The most talented receiver in the city of Cleveland is LeBron James (he could have been a Pro Bowl TE).
I strongly believe drafting Brenda was purely based on public relations. Drafting the hometown kid who grew up rooting for the Browns who comes home and become the next Tom Brady, revitalizing the city of Cleveland and making them relevent again. The problem is, he is not a franchise QB, more like the next Rick Mirer.
Charlie Weiss made Brenda into a NFL prospect but it just wont work out. The Browns were silly trading away a top five pick next year. They should have just kept their second round pick and drafted either Kevin Kolb or John Beck.
Its so bad in Cleveland that Romeo was talking how his team had a 3-1 recond in the preason. Yes, he said we "beat Denver and Chicago on the road.....
The Raiders and Falcons are bad, no question, but they at least still have their first round pick next year. I could see the Raiders having a nice second half surge when Daunte Culpepper is starting and Dominic Rhodes come back.
The Giants are pretty bad but I have a very strong feeling that with Eli out, they will tank the rest of the season, draft Darren McFadden and bring in Jon Gruden (we all know he is getting canned) to take the Giants to the Super Bowl in 09.
