I'm all for term limits. I would love to term limit my personal Congressman, Tom Tancredo. He is a professional politician. I agree. I don't think the framers wanted this sort of thing to happen, whether it be Ted Kennedy or Larry Craig.

Drew, both parties are flawed. Of course. We all see that. But the Republican Party is bought and paid for by the transnational corporations. The Congress voted 411-3 to stop this Mexican truck deal from going thru (part of NAFTA, which Clinton got passed). And yet it is going to happen anyway. Why? Because Bush wants it to. He is all about cheap labor. That translates into more profits for the corporations that own him.

The Repubs are the worse party because they didn't stand up to Bush on the Iraq War OR on illegal immigration. Why? Because they are also controlled by the lobbyists and special interest groups like the pharmaceutical companies.

Sure it would be great if there was a third party, a reform party. But there isn't.

The only hope is to fix the Democratic Party. I'm in the Edwards camp right now. Kucinich represents me just about perfectly but he has no shot because the corporate media makes him look like a clown. They discount him at every turn even though he says the right things.
