No harm done on your scale? I believe that would make your WHIP rise would it not? Wasn't it me who said that WHIP was the most important stat? How does this tie into whether or not BJ Ryan had one of the greatest seasons by a reliever? That is what you are trying to argue, isn't it?

Well? Did BJ Ryan blow a boatload of saves without it affecting his ERA? Does his WHIP reflect a pitcher who isnt a great closer?
