Rule V draft
Bullet dodged.....Pedro Strop was not selected in the Rule V draft.
No Rockies were selected and the Rockies did not select anyone. The big news of the day was the Cubs selecting Josh Hamilton from the Devil Rays (Yeah.....THAT Josh Hamilton).
No word yet on the minor league portion of the draft.....but I suspect we may see the Rockies lose a couple players.
