HARDLY... it would be foolish to say that just because a streak ended that there was nothing to the streak in the first place. Baseball is a game of ups and downs (and not all ups or all downs either). If your team is in a 5 game losing streak, just because they win the next day doesn't mean that there weren't any real factors that contributed to their momentary struggles at that time. Streaks are not permanent. Just because one starts or ends says nothing about the importance of momentum during that time that lead to a series of very positive or very negative efforts in succession. Individual players go through down periods, but they also tend to turn things around at some point. So do collective groups of players. That is very real at the time but doesn't mean it will last forever either, of course. That's the nature of this baseball grind where teams/players go through many different swings throughout the course of the long year.
Makes one wonder more about the accuracy of the pessimists here and their premature rush to doom and gloom predictions.
