All teams have bad deals. While this is a good short term deal for the Indians, max Ramirez could very well make up for the Travis Hafner deal.
Oh and actually you can blame Choo for Choo's absense. Nixon doesn't get signed if the Indians felt Choo was ready to assume the job fulltime.
