Mulder would be a solid pickup based upon incentives. However, some team will probably offer him guaranteed money.
I forgot what pitcher it was but a couple of years ago, the Yanks picked up a pitcher they knew would miss an entire year and gave him guaranteed money. Anybody help me out with his name?
Point is, someone will take a risk on Mulder. We aren't in the position to do it.
