I gotta say, I like this signing... a lot. Jose Guillen has a cannon for an arm, and that paired with Ichiro, is a deadly combination for opposing baserunners. He has 20 HR power too, when healthy(hopefully he can stay healthy this season). And I don't really see how you can compare him to Carl Everett... Everett was more known for his on the field outbursts more than anything else. I could understand the comparisons if we had picked up Milton Bradley though... But that's another story. Since I brought the guy up, I might as well mention how he was given another chance in Oakland and was successful. Bradley became a real leader in the postseason and was a big part(along with Thomas of couse) of Oakland's success. I think we should be willing to give Guillen a chance. He may be exactly what Seattle needs.
