So maybe yes, but maybe no. What I'm wondering is why you would want to extend a guy who made comments that will make a hot prospect's landing a little harder? Why would you extend a player that will make it more difficult for the roster to maintain Bavasi's idea of one position player up every year?
And Wiggen, I'm waiting to read it somewhere else, but I have heard news that will make you happy

I'm sorry I left for a while. I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time.
A few weeks ago I launched my own
